Digital Animation Designers have the skills and technical and management expertise to handle in the professional field of animation and post-production films.

These projects combine art, design, communication and technology for visual communication for visual media.

In an animated film, the digital designer develops *scripts, the *storyboard, creates the art, makes the *layouts, the animation, coloring, compositions and *post-production of the movie/film.

He animates characters and geometric objects, handling specialized software (three-dimensional and two-dimensional animation techniques), typical of the global animation industry.

He handles the *production processes of an animated film, from a technical and economic *feasibility.

He innovates and creates offers.

He generates identity from the Digital Animation industry.

He has background in:

Digital Drawing: He knows drawing techniques; handling of software related to vectors which are tools that allow creating and producing characters and scenes.

Animation: It studies the movement of objects, calculations of time, weight, volume and balance in these movements, construction of the animated cartoon, creation of characters, study of body language, faces, lip sync and synchronization of sounds in characters, scene composition, effects, etc.

Visual Communication: He has knowledge of creating forms, color theory, visual techniques and image, and their two-dimensional and three-dimensional representation.

Audiovisual Language: He understands audiovisual language (shoots, camera movements and axis of action) and the main formats of animation such as film, video, multimedia and Internet.

Script for Animation: He knows the concepts and strategies of narrative, techniques for sketching a story, narrative techniques applicable to the animation of short films and feature films, Internet and advertising, conventions to draw a *storyboard and production of animations.

Photography applied to Animation: He knows the aesthetic, narrative and artistic language of photography, and the basics of photography applied to 2D and 3D animation.

Lighting: He handles concepts of lighting in different areas: environment, dramatic area and unreal worlds.

He performs lighting using three-dimensional animation software.

Digital Process of Images: Creation of textures applicable to modeled objects, handling of graphics software (bitmap), digital image editing, scanning, retouching, photocomposition of images, application of special effects and development of transformations and photomontage.

Digital Sound Editing: He knows the concepts and theoretical foundations of sound as well as of different formats in electronic media. He uses sound editing software and handles the methodology and practice of sound editing.
